Excellent clip; I don't particularly like John Stewart's liberal tirades, but anyone can appreciate the difficulty elderly politicians have in understanding the effect of video games on youngsters.  It certainly is possible video game violence desensitizes gamers to video game violence, but this has nothing to do with the real world.  Even if it does, who's to say that desensitization can't be a good thing?  Where would doctors, EMT's, police, firefighters, etc. be without a certain level of desensitization to the things they see every day?  Learning to deal with such things is apart of life.  Trying to link video games with violent behavior is no different than linking heavy rock and roll to violent behavior.  

Love the show,  and he's right, the House of Congress is full of insane jackasses.

Classic.  Better than the internet is made of tubes.  Of course it's hard not to compare the insanity of congress, with the Krazy argument Kypdurron makes. Wow.

Very funny and very true, despite they put a very heavy focus on PS2 in the show exclusively it seems (especially the "Playstation-ologist"), though its not a big deal :). It shows how these politicians like to blindly bash the game industry for almost no reason. This same kind of "violence" can also be seen on a TV show, on a movie, or anywhere else, so why is gaming any different? I hate American politics these days, using nothing but scare tactics and false claims and information, and lies and whatnot...

It's also kind of ironic one of the only real creditable newscasters these days in the US is one doing comedy, but its also really well done comedy.
