Somewhere, a PS3/Xbox fanboy weeps.  That's a pretty cool idea though... I've never really liked the Playstation controller configuration, maybe I could give this a go.  Doesn't look impossibly hard.

Too bad he will still have the PS3 connectivity issues not found on the 360.  

The 360 is about as perfect a controller as you will find.   I hope Microsoft does not try to innovate too much in the following generation and risk messing up a great design.

360 has crap d-pad why bother going for 360 ergonomics

I must admit, I've always found the 360 controller a bit big/clunky.  It's not a bad design, I just prefer the Sony controller...and that's exactly why they didn't significantly change it in this generation.  In fact, it's virtually the same since the PS1 except for the analog sticks and rumble.

Both the d-pads of the 360 controller and the ps one would benefit from some redesign, while the 360 one looks excessively fragile and not very confortable for some actions (like the typical intrincate moves needed on fighting games), the ps one is terrible for the thumb, making it ache after an hour of playing (unless you have the thumb so acostumed by using it for hours and hours and hours per day)

hehe, I can understand why the guywould want to put his PS3 controller into a 360 one; the PS controller is bad. I really don't like it.

Well, at least I could play VF5 if I had one of these. I sold it 36 hours of buying and only an hour of gaming because it sucked horribly with the PS3 controller.

I will be getting the 360 version though.

I actually prefer the analog placement of the 360 controller and you can sand out the D-Pad's ring to give it room, also the PS3's L2 and R2 feels kinda funny, I'll definitely ring this guy up when I get a PS3.
